We are here until every body and mind are well!

Dr. Xudong Wu is a licensed acupuncturist and sensory neuroscientist whose career bridges traditional Chinese medicine, modern neurobiology, and biopharmaceutical innovation. Trained first as an acupuncturist and Tuina practitioner in China, he later earned a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the University of Tennessee and completed an 11year postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where he investigated the molecular mechanisms of hearing and sensory transduction.

Before returning to clinical practice, Dr. Wu spent more than two decades advancing therapeutics for hearing loss, neurological disorders, and cancer immunotherapy as a senior scientist and associate director in the biotech industry. His research has been published in Nature, Neuron, Nature Communications, and other leading journals.

With over 18 years of dedicated meditation practice, Dr. Wu integrates mind–body principles into his clinical work, offering a grounded and compassionate approach to conditions such as pain, insomnia, stressrelated symptoms, and gastrointestinal disorders. His treatments combine classical acupuncture, meridian theory, Tuina therapy, and a deep understanding of neurophysiology and sensory health. Patients value his calm presence, precise diagnostic thinking, and the way he unites tradition, science, and mindfulness to support healing.
