We are here until every body and mind are well!

Hello, my name is Zhengyang Liu, and my English name is Charlie. I was admitted to Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TJUTCM) in 2010 and graduated in 2015 with a dual undergraduate degree in Chinese Medicine and Rehabilitation, along with a one-year clinical rotation at TJUTCM’s affiliated hospital. During my five years in Tianjin, I studied core subjects such as Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and herbal medicine prescription, as well as rehabilitation-focused courses like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation assessment.
After graduating in 2015, I worked as a Chinese medicine physician at a public general hospital in my hometown, which had over 700 employees, for three years.
In fall 2019, I moved to the United States to pursue a Master’s in Acupuncture at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Worcester, MA. After two years of study and a one-year clinical internship, I successfully passed the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) exam in 2022, earning my Massachusetts acupuncturist license.
Over the past three years in the U.S., I have integrated various Chinese medicine theories, herbal formulas, and acupuncture techniques to enhance patient health. My clinical experience, coupled with ongoing self-study, has strengthened my expertise in treating pain management, digestive disorders, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and metabolic conditions such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and other chronic diseases.
Currently, I am pursuing a Doctoral degree at Five Branches University in San Jose, California, further expanding my knowledge and clinical proficiency.
I am honored to be part of the CBS Acupuncture with over a decade of history, extensive clinical resources, experienced practitioners, and a strong local reputation. Working here allows me not only to deliver effective treatments and compassionate healthcare but also to continually refine my skills and professional experience.
